Virginia Kitchens was hired to design and plan the materials for this beautiful kitchen in Richmond, Virginia. It has IKEA frames and DIY Semihandmade "shaker" style doors and drawer fronts. The panels are painted light green and white. The brass handles and faucet are a great match. Our team also templated and installed the quartz countertop and the IKEA farm sink with white apron. This five-bedroom house in the heart of Newport News near Warwick Boulevard deserved a better kitchen and our team was hired for top to bottom renovation. To minimize the expenses for the projects, Virginia Kitchens designed the new kitchen with a layout similar to the old one… with few critical changes:

This kitchen in the subdivision Landstown of Virginia Beach, VA went through a total transformation. As usually: the kitchen planning and design is one of the most important steps. Virginia Kitchens redesigned the kitchen layout to open it towards the living room. For that purpose, two walls had to be removed and the refrigerator and the water supply line had to be moved to another wall.

This is another rustic style kitchen, making it a hot trend in our area. This kitchen milestones are shaker style cabinets (IKEA’s GRIMSLOV), white subway tiles, hardwood floors, black, barn-style light fixtures with vintage Edison light bulbs, combined with recessed LED lights in the ceiling and LED lights under the wall cabinets and finally: marble-like quartz – Carrera Minuet.

This kitchen in Virginia Beach, Great Neck area, is an embodiment of the contemporary kitchen on a budget. IKEA’s Veddinge doors and drawers are both trendy and affordable at price range in the lower one-third tier, compared to all other materials that IKEA offers. Veddinge is a European style, flat panel, painted white and it comes with 25 years warranty. All appliances that IKEA offers are with 5 years warranty, which makes your kitchen renovation a worry-free experience in the long run.

This house from the 60’s is located in the heart of Virginia Beach – the Pembroke area. Virginia Kitchens designed its beautiful rustic-style kitchen with IKEA’s Grimslov doors and drawer fronts, gold handles, red gold faucet and light fixtures. The countertop is the all-favourite quartz Carrera Minuet and the floors are hardwood. All new appliances are also installed by Virginia Kitchens – dishwasher with built-in cover panel, 36-inch refrigerator with water line, gas range oven, built-in microwave and LED lights in the glass cabinets and under the wall cabinets. When completed, this kitchen will also feature mosaic backsplash, country style.

Virginia Kitchens designed and built the kitchen for this stunning house located near Bennett’s Creek Park and Boat in Suffolk. The house is in great shape with all hardwood floors, beautiful exterior and amazing high ceilings, but the kitchen was utterly dated even though it was equipped with build-in oven, cook-top and plenty of cabinets, it was poorly lit and had aging laminate countertops.

This 1939 house in Richmond, Virginia went through a phenomenal transformation and we at Virginia Kitchens are proud to be part of it. Our role was to assemble and install the IKEA kitchen cabinets and then template and install the quartz counter top. The doors and drawers of choice were the traditional BODBYN grey and off-white, matched with Willow White quartz which is mostly white with some grey veins in it.

The family of this beautiful, secluded 1924 home in West Ghent felt like their existing IKEA kitchen was too small for the size of the house. They called Virginia Kitchens LLC and asked for a kitchen addition that had to match the current kitchen. The kitchen in the house was the IKEA AKURUM with light brown Grimslov cover panels and doors. The iconic AKURUM cabinets were discontinued in 2015 and replaced by the new USA made SEKTION. The cover panels Grimslov are still offered by IKEA but some of the drawer fronts come in different sizes.

This kitchen in Virginia Beach in the Chimney Hill neighborhood is the perfect example of a small kitchen space being utilized in the best possible way for maximum storage solution. Even though this kitchen is only 10x10 feet, it has 36-inch wide refrigerator, 36-inch double bowl, under-mount sink, full-size oven, range hood, and dishwasher, a large pantry and plenty of storage space in its wall and base cabinets. IKEA is famous for its functionality, traditional styles that successfully push the boundaries towards a more modern look and unparalleled value of its products.
